The official launch and first Tibetan Children’s Fund fundraising dinner Saturday December 12 was a resounding success.
Over 100 people enjoyed a sumptuous home cooked feast prepared by the team, Lama Tendar and our special guest chef Yong in a wonderful atmosphere of celebration and caring for the Children of Tibet. The evening could not have been better or more energetic for the auspicious launch of the TCF in Australia, Lama Tendar is already looking forward to our 2010 fund raising dinner!
A very special thanks goes to all the team who played an integral role in the success of the evening and to Yong and all of our guests who so kindly and generously supported the night.

The Tibetan Children's Fund is an Australian non-profit, non-political organization dedicated to supporting Tibetan children with education and healthcare services.

We believe every child should have access to education and health so that they may reach their full potential.

Our mission is to bring about long lasting change to the lives of children in the remote areas of the Kham region in Eastern Tibet by providing education and healthcare facilities to these regions.

We strive to make the world a better place to these children by developing and improving their self esteem and self confidence, helping them to embrace their rich cultural history and giving hope for present and future generations.

We are also committed to financially supporting needy Tibetan children, assisting them to secure a brighter future for themselves and their families.

The Tibetan Children’s Fund group consists of individuals, networks and business partners located in Australia and abroad who share a common concern for the future of the people of Tibet.

We take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks t all our individual friends and organizations who make it possible for us to care for and educate thousands of destitute children in Tibet.
